and the guys were figuring out cummerbunds and bow ties. Once they were ready, a pre-wedding beer was in order.

Then it was off to the church. I’d met up with the wedding party the other day for the wedding rehearsal, and everyone was getting into their places for the real deal. And then it was time and the happy bride was walked down the aisle with her beaming dad.

It was a lovely ceremony with lots of nice light for great pictures. Both the bride and groom said all the right things, and then were married!

After a few fun group shots, the newlyweds snuck off for a bit of alone time while everyone headed over to the Julia Morgan Ballroom for the reception.

The ballroom was ready for a party with all of Mary Kate and Kyle’s personal touches. The cake was ready for eating and guests were gathering for welcoming the newlyweds. Located right in downtown San Francisco, the Julia Morgan Ballroom has historic decor with lots of gold leaf, marble, and grand windows for viewing the city.

Our happy couple made their grand entrance and then enjoyed their first dance.

After a few toasts it was time to eat that cake – luckily no one ended up wearing any of it…

and then the bride shared a special father-daughter dance.

Our new Mr. took his mom for a spin, too.

Then there was an exciting tossing of the bouquet and the rest of the guests hit the dance floor. Congrats, Mary Kate and Kyle!

After a quick kiss from dad and the best man’s approval, it was time to get ready for the wedding.

Everyone headed out doors for a few group shots. It was a lovely day and the gardens at the Vine Hill House, which are full of redwoods, grape vines, and romantic flower gardens.

While getting a few last pictures of our happy couple before the wedding we caught mom trying to take a few pictures over my shoulder…

While the guests were gathering, they had a chance to check out all the unique touches all around the gardens. From a vintage typewriter to leave special notes, to the framed quotes about marriage, the place was ready for a wedding.

Friends and family lit candles in preparation for the ceremony while the guests found their seats.

Then it was time for the wedding. While the groom was walked down the aisle his mother surprised him by singing a little song, which totally caught him off guard. The ladies continued on to light the wedding candle, while our groom awaited his bride.

Then it was time for a wedding. Our happy couple said all the right things and then were married.

The afternoon was just lovely and our newlyweds enjoyed a short walk and a quick dance in the vineyards.

After making their arrival and a few toasts, the newlyweds cut the cake…

and then headed to the dance floor for their first dance.

Then it was time for the new Mr. to take his mom for a spin. Remember when she sang him a little song while walking him down the aisle? Well, he turned the tables and sang to her during their dance, which sure got mom going.

Then it was the new Mrs.’s turn to dance with her father while everyone watched.

After a dance with her grandfather, the rest of the guests hit the dance floor to celebrate the happy couple. Congratulations, April and Trip!

Friends and family had already gathered for the wedding, along with a live broadcasting to grandma in Australia.

St. Augustine’s is a perfect example of why it’s important to have a clear discussion about what your wedding photographer can and can’t do during the ceremony. Sadly, the restrictions only allowed for pictures to be taken from one spot at the church, which was in a back corner. This seriously limited the amount of wedding ceremony pictures… But, our happy couple enjoyed a wonderful ceremony, said all the right things, and then were married.

After lots of congratulations, it was time to chat with grandma in Australia and show off the wedding dress.

Our new Mrs. took a moment with her flower girls and bridesmaids before heading off for Casa Real with her new husband.

Casa Real was decked out and ready for a party. On display was the amazing wedding cake that was made by none other than the new Mrs. herself and her mother-in-law, who is a cake maker. The two really bonded while making this beautiful cake.

While everyone was finding their seats and mingling, our newlyweds took a few moments to wander around the vineyard.

Then it was time for toasts, lots of laughs, cutting and eating some cake, a really impressive first dance, and a calmer spin with dad. Everyone was having a wonderful time celebrating the newlyweds!

Our new Mrs. snuck off for a quick dress change and then headed back for more dancing with her new hubby. Congratulations, Sheana and Tarique!

The guys had fun goofing around and pulling some poses before it was time to walk the aisle. The front steps of the Flood Mansion were a perfect back drop for a few man pictures.

The Flood Mansion is a great venue for hosting a wedding – and it really was a private residence at one time. James Leary Flood built the place for his wife when their first home was damaged in the Great Quake of 1906. There are rooms that can house up to 300 wedding guests or nice and cozy spots that can accommodate up to 150 friends and family. Here comes the bride!

It was a prefect ceremony and after the bride and groom said, “YES” at the appropriate time, they were married. After the ceremony, guests gathered to share a drink and sample a few tasty appetizers. The mansion offers a list of approved caterers ready and willing to work with couples and their wedding wishes.

Then it was time for a few really special toasts, which got everyone laughing…

And then the lights dimmed and our newlyweds hit the dance floor for their first dance as Mr. and Mrs., and then for the rest of the guests to party on.
