Ya mon! When Kristen called, wanting to book me sight unseen for a destination wedding in Montego Bay, Jamaica, I thought it had to be some sort of scam. But it was the real deal! Kristen’s sister was a bridesmaid from a wedding I shot last year, and she and Matt had set the date for their dream wedding at the Iberostar Rose Hall Beach Resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica (an all-inclusive 5-star resort). The first night, guests enjoyed a wedding rehearsal and welcome dinner, along with a fun (and helpful) goodie bag.
Our happy couple was ready for fun in the sun – as well as a wedding. After the rehearsal, there was a bonfire on the beach and steel drum music for dancing.
The next day was wedding day and the girls were pampered with hair and make-up…
Kristen was glowing and the boys were ready and waiting.
Here comes the bride! It was a beautiful day to get married in Montego Bay. The Iberostar has a secluded spot for beach weddings, making the ceremony a truly special event.
After the wedding we had some fun with a few group shots on the beach – no shoes required!
The newlyweds went for a short stroll around the grounds of the resort and snuck a few smooches.
Guests gathered for dinner, dancing, and cake, of course!
But that’s not all! The next day, Kristen and Matt wanted to do something really special – a trash the dress session! Before getting started, our newlyweds took a few moments to bask in the grandness of the Iberostar Resort. This place knows how to treat guests like royalty.
After a stroll on the beach, it was time to totally trash that dress…
And the pool was the perfect place for doing just that!
