Rafi and Jessie booked me sight unseen all the way from New York. Madrona Manor in Napa, California was all ready for a wedding – and a wedding it was! The ladies were getting ready at a local nail salon while the guys held down the fort at the manor.

Our happy couple spent their first year together in Holland, and then found themselves in New York. Getting married in Napa just seemed like the right thing to do. Both come from very unique families, making this one of the most diverse wedding I’ve ever shot! Our groom was just about ready…

Guests were starting to arrive and mingle before the wedding. Their are 8-acres surrounding Madrona Manor, which creates a relaxing and private feeling to any wedding. The master gardener has been tending the plants for over 25 years, and an extensive organic garden that provides fruits and vegetables all year round to the restaurant. The ceremony was lovely, blending traditions from both our happy couple’s heritages.

Instead of strolling off into the sunset, these newlyweds left the scene in style by jumping on their bikes and going for a short ride – and some kissing!

Now instead of just telling their guests where to sit, this couple made things interesting by leaving flags on tables from around the world and assigning the guests country, really putting to test that elementary school knowledge from years past!

Then it was time for toasting and relaxing with friends and family. Madrona Manor has many areas for guests to enjoy along with the outdoor gardens. The indoors and outdoors are interwoven and more than comfortable for up to 150 guests.

Then it was time for some dancing and a quick change by our bride so she could really get down! The couple hired a great salsa band, Oye Productions, and everyone hit the dance floor.
