Metropolitan Club Wedding – Nicole + Chris
Nicole and Chris were busy getting ready for their big wedding day. The ceremony was planned to take place at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church with a reception after at the Metropolitan Club, both located in San Francisco. The girls were primping at her parent’s house in San Francisco, which had great light and nice white walls – perfect for pre-wedding pictures. Everyone was sure happy and having a lovely time getting pretty.
All the ladies approved of our bride’s hair and makeup!
There was a moment of concern as our brides’ mum discovered that grandma’s ring, which was supposed to be her “something old” was too big. But, a solution was figured out, and everyone got back to smiling again!
All that was left was to add the finishing touches and get ready to head to the wedding ceremony!
Just as the ladies were walking out the door, someone busted out with a quick rendition of The Chapel of Love
by the Dixie Cups, and along with all the singing, everyone had a good laugh, too!
They guys had been hanging around waiting for the ladies outside of St. Mark’s. We decided we might as well get some fun jumping shots while the bridesmaids were attending to finishing touches.
Mom checked in on the guys to make sure her future son-in-law was ready for the wedding ceremony.
Here’s our lovely bride sneaking in the back door of St. Mark’s. She’s all set for her big day!
Our couple had a traditional Saturday wedding ceremony – and everyone said, “YES!” Then it was time to head to the Metropolitan Club to celebrate!
Yes, the new Mrs. is really happy about being married, but what you don’t see are three of her bridesmaids under her dress lifting and bustling!
The newlyweds decided to walk from St. Mark’s to the Metropolitan Club and enjoy a couple of romantic moments along the way. They seem pretty happy – what do you think?
The Metropolitan Club was set and ready for the party – everything was in place….
Including our newlywed’s Dalmatian cake! Our happy couple have a Dalmatian at home, and because he couldn’t be there to help them celebrate, they decided to make the cake just like him.
And, here they are – the new Mr. and Mrs!
There were some seriously wicked roasts before dinner including an embarrassing story by Nicole’s sister that made her dab her eyes, and one for Chris that had us all laughing (I’m not sure if it’s appropriate for sharing…).
Then it was time for a dance with dad.
And, one of the best ever cake pictures, which was all planned out by the ladies!
I feared for my life during this bouquet toss! Go for it girls!
Congratulations, Nicole and Chris!
